General Information
Horse riding is a risk sport and carries an element of unpredictability. While we take every possible step to ensure the safety of our clients, staff, and property, horses are living animals and may react unexpectedly.
By attending sessions or visiting the yard, all clients and visitors acknowledge and accept that participation is at their own risk and that there is a possibility of personal injury or loss.
What to Wear
Don’t worry if you don’t yet have full riding attire — we’re happy to help you get started safely and comfortably.
Recommended:
- Shoes or boots with a small heel (to prevent your foot slipping through the stirrup)
- Long trousers (leggings or jogging bottoms are fine — avoid loose clothing)
- A jacket or coat that can be securely fastened
- Minimal jewellery
- Long hair tied back
We provide riding hats free of charge.
Weather Considerations
We ride in most weather conditions, so please dress appropriately:
- Waterproof jacket and trousers
- Gloves and warm layers
Please Avoid:
- Sandals or flat-soled shoes
- Shorts, skirts, or dresses
- Dangling jewellery or scarves
- Riding with hoods up
Rules & Regulations
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone, we kindly ask all visitors to follow these guidelines:
- No smoking anywhere on the yard. Smoking is permitted in the car park only. Please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.
- No dogs are allowed on the premises.
