General Information

Horse riding is a risk sport and carries an element of unpredictability. While we make every effort to ensure the safety of our clients, staff, and property, it is important to understand that horses are living animals and may react unexpectedly at times. By attending our sessions or visiting the yard, all clients and visitors accept that there is a risk of personal injury or loss, and participation is at their own risk.

What To Wear

Don't worry if you don't have all the right riding clothes to begin with.

For your safety and comfort we recommend:

Shoes or boots with a small heel  (to prevent your foot slipping through the stirrup).

Long trousers (leggings or jogging bottoms are fine - avoid shorts or anything too loose).

A jacket or coat that can be zipped or fastened securely.

Minimum jewellery.

Long hair tied back.

We provide riding hats free of charge.

We ride in most weather conditions, so please dress appropriately:

Waterproof jackets and trousers.

Gloves and layers to stay warm.

Please avoid:

Sandals or shoes with flat soles.

Shorts, skirts, or dresses.

Dangling jewellery or scarves.

Hoods up while riding.

Rules & Regulations
